- Caninsulin is specially formulated for the treatment of diabetes
mellitus in dogs and cats.
- Caninsulin contains porcine lente insulin which is identical
in structure to canine insulin and similar in structure to feline
insulin.
- Caninsulin contains 40 IU/ml; human presentations contain
100 IU/ml.
Small dose volumes can be measured easily and accurately.
- Special 40 IU/ml syringes are available for accurate measuring
of insulin.
- Caninsulin is available in 2.5ml and 10ml vials. This means
that for small dogs or cats the same vial is not used month
after month.
- Caninsulin is a registered veterinary product.
